Probably the best in Boston

As a southerner visiting New England, admittedly my exposure to “good” pizza is limited. But this is the best I’ve ever had and it’s not close.

Portnoy hit the nail on the head with this one. Just about as good as it gets in Boston. Nearly perfect everywhere, just a bit greasy and a little flop. Either here or Picco is best in Boston (Picco review coming soon). A true Boston institution, if you’re in town it’s a must stop spot.

Every time I visit Boston, I need to stop at Regina Pizza. Thanks to El Presidente for the video review and recommendation.

I’ve been walking this earth for 46 years and this is one the best pizza I have eaten. If you’re in the area it is a must stop.

To be fair, I had Modern Apizza the day before. Tough act to follow. Very solid pizza and a North End staple.

Crispy. Undercarriage was the main theme of this slice. Thin crust with a moderate weight of toppings yet it remained firm in the undercarriage. Just the right amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Worth noting is the grease, a lot of slices never show grease or have too much of it. This slice had just the right amount. Line up around the corner to get in, never ending pies coming out of the back and customer service that you only get in a busy spot. 9/10

Though I usually agree with El Pres he was a bit wrong on this pie. No way does it crack the 9's. Got the traditional Pep/Sausage outside crust was good but pizza was a bit undercooked and doughy in the middle. Very floppy and a tad bit disappointed. The only thing keeping this in the 8's was the fact the cheese pizza was done properly.

Great sauce and crust. Little too much north end flop. Cheese pizza cooked better than the toppings one.
