Republic Pi

Old Portnoy scale that 6’s denote good local places, I would give this a 6.8, very good local place. Upside, crust is crispy and fluffy. Sauce is good. Downside, the bottom looks real crispy but there is a lot of flop. Cheese is a touch on the greasy side. Overall, solid place if you are on the South Hill.

Good char, classic woodfire and good tasting crust. Minimal flop. The undercarriage could be a little more well-done and it would give it a little more cruch that could take it to the next level. Lots of olive oil on top, maybe a little too much, but overall I really liked it. Good flavor, good balance of sauce and cheese.

Pretty similar to the Flying Goat, but a bit better. The undercarriage was sturdier and had a good crisp. Very greasy though.

This has really good flavor, especially the cheese. Crust was good. But this is all flop, no crisp, and also pretty greasy. The flavor was good enough that I would come back.

Crispy Brussels.

At times it can be a bit grease and the style is certainly not for everyone but still great pi.

Okay, the bites I searched for that had sauce were pretty good. Now having said that, tons of grease, not enough sauce, and could have used more cheese. Really salty, and didn’t have a ton of flavor. On the upside great char on the crust. Has potential, but for now, this pie lacks identity.

Good crisp, nice char. Decent flop. Good taste. Good pizza overall.

Same menu as the Flying Goat. Great pizza. Thin crust with lots of different options on the menu.

Best pizza in Spokane

Greasy. Sauce was very basic. Only thing helping this pizza out was the crust. Super crispy, good char. For 18 bucks it’s not worth it, better spots less then 5 minutes away for the same price.

Tons of greese. Sauce is good enough. Wish there was a bit more cheese. No flop on the pizza here. It's crisp and cooked well with a bit of charcoal on the bottom from the wood fire oven. Solid slices here people.

Hipster pizza to the MAX! So much flop...you need a fork. Crust was good but mozzarella not evenly spaced.

The best slice in Spokane. Coal fire, tasty crust. Perfect sauce and cheese mix. Greasy, flop. One whole slice + one more bite everyone knows the rules.

Good pizza, never felt so fancy after eating a pizza. But the perfectly burnt Brussel sprouts on the pizza we had made me feel like I needed a monocle.

High level flop. Thin as a cracker. Really solid pizza here with the sausage and mamas peppers.

Maybe thinner than a piece of college ruled paper, the crust carries this score to the bear 8’s. The cheese is not their best but still damn good.

Great date style pizza. Good chewy crust with a bit of crunch. Perfect char. I got the district pizza.

Wilson on bottom

Minimal NY/WA/Spokane flop. Cheese is quite tasty but also quite greasy. The little bit of sauce is good but there’s not enough. Crust has a great balance of being crispy but not excessively so. Crust is also very thin (my strong personal preference). I wish it had been brought out a warmer temperature.
