the pizza deserves a 7.7, here’s the bummer tho, I picked it up when I was supposed to and it was COLD. For a near 30 dollar purchase I expect better. The undercarriage sauce and cheese are OUTSTANDING, it has good crunch on the outside/middle, if the whole pie was crunchy we are talking mid 8’s.

Pizza didn’t stand a chance! So good! The spot is amazing too. Live jazz good vibes all around.

First I appreciate the effort however this pizza is far from the 8.2 or whatever this app claims. The dough is super salty, my guestimation is around 4-5% salt. Also the dough was either severely overworked or a combination of overworked and under hydrated. The result is a very dense chewy dough. I know my New York and New Haven pizzas so I don't wanna hear that I don't know what l'm talking about. Sauce was lackluster at best, from what I can tell it was a San Marzano canned tomatoes not domestic and minimal seasoning and not cooked. No real balance to the sauce. All of this can be fixed if that was a desire. Still pretty decent for Santa Barbara. But to be honest I'd prefer Con Vivo’s Neapolitan over this and I don't even like Neapolitan. This is the best pizza in California. It isn’t even a contest. I grew up in NJ, on some of the most legendary and best pizza in the world. It seriously gives my home pizza places, like Patsy’s in Paterson, a run for its money. High quality ingredients, thin, well done, organic sourdough crust, tangy flavorful sauce and excellent cheeses. It’s my go to for a taste of home, I’m grateful Revolver exists. Go for the margarita. Don’t miss the opportunity to come eat this pizza if you’re in Santa Barbara, it’s a hidden gem.

Mr Portnoy might consider this an 8.1, especially considering we’re talkin Santa Effing Barbara, and not NY. Hands down, if you know anything about real pizza, this is as close as it gets in this lovely, little coastal town. There is no pizza better here. For the idiots who don’t know apizza, go to Dominos or Chucky Cheese. The wait was 2 hours tonight, and IDGAF. Order it, pay the people, and shut up and eat. Not a better pizza in SB.
