This review is for the famous Frankie's, just down the road. I had to use another name on the app that went out of business. Surprisingly an established place from 1955 was never added?
1. They have been rated as best pizza in Florida by channel 10 news. Bon Appetite Magazine has them as top 8 in the country, along with other impressive reviews.
2. I have reviewed a number of places that people swore by and were old legendary spots. I find that the dough, doesn't always cut it, like modern day recipes. It had a big decent crunch to it.
3. They seemed to have automatically added parmesan cheese, and a large amount. I did not care for this at all. I could barely taste and rate the pizza with all the parmesan. Sauce was quite tasty.
4. Overall it wasn't my style pizza, but for some others, I guess it works!!
