🍕Extreme Wolf High Pedigree Holiday Weekend Review Alert👀 Not only is the community score insanely high, the single most prolific reviewer in this app rates this in the nines. Spoiler - there is no scenario, NONE, that this pizza is in the nines. It’s good, it’s even travel worthy, and yet, it’s not the best of anywhere, except Browns Mills NJ. Execution- baking is perfect and the taste is good. But not great. Ratio - on the Browns Mills Tomato pie pictured, the dough is too thick. On the bonus Detroit, too thick overall, and too much cheese Tomato pie evaluation- Cheese- really pleasant taste. Profoundly beautiful texture, creamy, nice chew, a bit of tang. The freshness jumps out. It’s still not world class. It doesn’t jump out overall. So good, not great Sauce - any previous mentions of the excellent sauce are spot on. The chunky tomato sauce has the tiniest bit of sweetness presumably coming only from the tomatoes. No hint of spice. It’s exceptional. Dough- not only is the dough just a bit too thick, it’s chewy, and almost completely void of taste on the edges with no sauce or cheese. I hate salt, and the dough could use a bit. Overall, the quality is undeniable. The taste, although quite good, just doesn’t measure up to the best anything.. pizza, tomato pie, whatever That being said, despite my relatively low score, it is travel worthy. But barely Leopold Stokowski said, “On rare occasions have I created great art. So much has to happen for me to be proud of our music.” If this pizza were an orchestra, it would not be Philly, Berlin or Vienna. It would be a “B”orchestra, which although pretty good, is not something I’d ever see twice Still, far too high quality for Knicks fans, but they’re hiding under rocks, or in prison, anyway Bonus Detroit review- 7.2 Too much cheese and too fluffy to be Detroit, it’s Chicago!!!!
