Ricci’s has been on my short list of places to try since moving to the area. First impression was great crisp, no flop and no grease. The first bite was good, but I didn’t really taste any tang or zest. However, as I continued to eat the pizza I realized that it didn’t need any additional flavor outside of the basic ingredients. These are all quality ingredients and it shows. The pizza was very good and is borderline your typical NY pizza and a better quality specialty($$$) pizza. I have debated this score for a bit, but I think it deserves to enter the elite. The score is held back a little because they are not 18” slices, but the quality is deserving of the score:

Grandmas pizza with pepperoni. Crust was light and crispy, sauce was amazing. Definitely an awesome pie.

Crust is the best part about this pizza, so good. The pepperoni slice was head and shoulders better than just the cheese slice. Score might be higher if the cheese was better. Not greasy and barely any flop. Would definitely eat again!

Re review because wanted to give this place another shot. Slice is very soft with no cruch at all and a lot of flop. Great sauce and toppings. Overall not a bad pie. 7.2

Would I travel for this? Probably not. Is it good pizza? Yes. Not much around here is better. Solid grandma slice. Crust could be crispier, but life is filled with all sorts of letdowns. This isn’t a dealbreaker. 7.8

Fell far below expectations...tried the grandma and the regular slice. Sauce was watery and lacked flavor, which is why they overcompensate with way too much garlic. Crust was meh. Not even close to worthy of the 8.1 people are giving. Far better pizza in the area.

First time here I am use to Pepe’s and Modern in New Have...enough said as a benchmark. Ricci is from LI. Great pie. Sauce crust cheese

I was looking forward to this one for #60. It didn’t disappoint. The flavor was very good and the texture was great. I wish it was closer to home, but worth the drive.

A lot of 516 in this slice, solid LI-style. You can just feel the Friday night during Lent taste of pizza. Great sauce. Cheese lacks a little but classic doughier type LI crust. Big fan of place in general, everything’s pretty good
