Rick's Italiano Meats & N.Y. Style Pizza

Good undercarraige and little flop. Garlic crust decent. Decent sauce cheese ratio. Solid football pizza.

Here by recommendation. Nice Italian pastries for sale, but I wasn't here for that today. 1. The slice was over 3 dollars and was on the smaller side. I would need about 4 to fill up and make it a meal. 2. The crust was very unique in the respect that they get it so paper thin, yet it is crisp and keeps it to a true NY style dough. 3. I did not order garlic but I assume they automatically add it to their crust. I caught the strong aroma as soon as I opened the box. The chucks were big!

Good sauce, good cheese, and good dough. I just wanted a little more kick to it (pecorino Romano would have really kicked this one up in the score). Garlic knots were good (although I ordered it with sauce for dipping but they never brought it and still charged me for the sauce) and brought home cannolis but haven’t tried them yet.

Really good pizza. Nice and crispy. A little greasy but I like a little grease. Really good cheese.

Everybody knows the rules, the only review that matters...classic 7.8. Little bit too greasy, and you have a lotta flop here. Crust was great and cheese was good enough to make it an 8.

Alright Frankie... sweet sauce on this pie. Greased up, with a fair amount of cheese. I would of liked it a bit crispier. Alright football pizza, but didn’t blow me away.

Had this pie delivered. Solid 7.8. Cheese: Greasy on top but good coverage with a lava melt and the grease didn’t penetrate down into the pie. Crust: nice char on the bottom, crispy outer crust and minimal flop. Sauce: tasted like high quality that blended well with the cheese flavor. Good tang but not overpowering. Fresh. It tasted fresh. If they keep it consistent with this quality I may have found a new go-to for delivery. Closest to New York pizza I’ve had in North Pinellas.

One bite instantly confirmed that as of now, Rick’s is the best pizza in the Tampa area! Absolutely fantastic flavor that needs to be experienced right out of the oven to properly appreciate! Their slow-simmered authentic sauce and savory cheese create a flavor that is the antithesis to those horrible chain pizza joints! Awesome selection of home made deserts as well!

All flop and grease. Taste is just okay. That’s my review.

The review I left previously was for the Ricks on 19 not this one on Klosterman. This is not good pizza, I forgot to take a pic before I ate it so I fucked that one up too. Bad day for pizza reviews. This pizza couldn’t be more different from the other Rick’s. This had less flop and less grease but the taste was very bland. Not much in the way of garlic or herbs. The crust was ok but just an all around bland slice. The cheese was tasteless and kind of waxy.
