Ricotta's Pizza

Rix used to be owned by someone locally and since then it has been bought out and instead of renaming the store they added “Taj’s” to the building. Ricotta’s was a nice, clean store with stocked shelves. The new owner employs only family and you can definitely tell the difference. “Yo, BuffaloPizzaGuy, are ya rating stores or pizza?!” Well, the pizza? Eh. Fresh cheese and a good amount of it. It’s really the best thing going for this pizza. The sauce is hearty and due to a glitch on the app, this is my 2nd pizza from here in a week (I lost the photo). Last week, the review would of be a little worse as the sauce wasn’t as thick and watered down. The dough. Fresh but undercooked and really soft. Evidence by partially melted cheese underneath. It’s not chewy but if you’re like me and want a little crisp, ask for it well done. Conclusion- This pizza used to be better. The steak fajita pizza with the chipotle sauce was great but new ownership and a focus on middle eastern food, it’s no longer what it used to be.

This is Rix’s Margarita Pizza. Now this is really, really good!! Amazing cheese, great sauce, great crust and flop, and not much grease.
