Thin crust that goes all the way to the end of the pie. Tons of flavor the hot oil and the Hawaiian are both great

8.1. Very similar to Colony. I think colony is a tiny bit better.

High Hopes. This Pizza looked great, had all the qualities i like but.. was let down. The Crust was chewy and not alot of flavor. Im sure eating this pizza in house would be a different experience..

If you know about Riko’s pizza, there’s a good chance you’ve had Colony Grill before. It’s no surprise Riko’s pies look very similar to the thin crust bar pies that Colony serves because it’s essentially the same recipe that was replicated by a former Colony cook and rebranded as Riko’s. If you’ve read some of the reviews, you’ll see this style pizza is very polarizing. While some love the thin crust style, others dismiss it as cheese & ketchup on a cardboard cracker. I’m actually a fan of this “change on pace pie.” Super thin, incredible crisp & crunch, just enough sauce & cheese with a really nice flavor that’s unique to bar pies. While I do like Colony, I give Riko’s the slight edge for their dough being more like a thin pizza dough and less like a cracker. You can’t go wrong with either joint. Both make really solid bar pies; and while Colony is the original, Riko’s is just a notch better.

Glad to be back rippin reviews! At one of my local favorites. Similar to the GOAT Colony Pizza, Riko’s is very good bar pizza. Little greasier than it’s competitor. However, this thin crispy bar pie is tasty and should be tried by all.

Very good quality bar pizza, thin, crispy relatively light amount of sauce and cheese but still delicious, one of the best in Stamford

Thin, crispy, bar style pizza. A little heavy on the grease but an enjoyable slice.

Similar concept to Colony Grill but not as well executed; a bit too greasy, sauce lacked tang, and slices were cut in inconsistent sizes. Great crisp and good cheese, though.

“Hot Oil Pizza” - This pizza itself is visually spectacular, especially if you enjoy oil on you pizza like me. The crispiness is this pie’s best and worst attribute. The crust has the most satisfying crunch, but it’s a thin pizza to begin with. As a result, the first bite never quite bumps it past to pizza glory. But goddamn, this shit smacks.

At first glance it appears very greasy but WoW! Great thin crunchy crust all the way through. Sweet sauce, good cheese and fresh ingredients! One of the best slices I ever had!
