Riko’s Pizza, Hope Street - Stamford Stopped by with my mom, and we had a great experience. The baked wings were crispy perfection, paired with a sweet and spicy sauce—definitely ask for them well done. I’d rate the wings an 8.2. The hot oil pizza delivered a nice kick with its spice and had a crispy crust—solid 7.8. But the star of the show was the regular cheese thin crust pizza. Perfect undercarriage, just missing a sprinkle of parm to elevate it. I’m giving it an 8.0. If you’re in the area, it’s worth the trip!”

My 9 year old and I both agree this is an 8.3. The Nashville was a little too spicy but was excellent. The regular was perfect for my kid. He said, definitely better than colony pizza.

Good bar pie. My style- cracker crust and super light. But felt like eating a frozen pizza

Great bar pie. You will not find a more consistent pie than this. Great crust that never flops. Pictured are veggie and white slices because the cheese pie (fav) was gone before I could get a pic.

I think they certainly out did colony tonight. And I know they “stole” the hot oil recipe, but idk. way better heat

This hot oil pie with parm has endless flavor that is love at first bite! I ate this whole thing in less than 10 minutes. The one thing keeping it from the 9s is that the sauce is a bit inferior to the flavor of the hot oil and parm. But it's a must have!

I had to force myself not to eat an entire pie very fast. Incredibly crispy, flavorful and fun to eat. I didn’t know bar pizza was my thing (because I hate bars) but every time I have it I’m blown away. Has a roasted red peppers pie.

I was hoping I could write this review without making reference to Colony pizza, but I don’t think that’s gonna be possible. Obviously, we know in love the original, and this is the next best thing. That being said, I found the dough and the sauce to be quite tasteless. It seem like they put a little extra char on the bottom to try and make up for the lack of flavor, but I had to load it up with Parmesan and pepper in order to taste anything. The cook was perfect, the crust was crispy. I wanted to try something new, but think I will stick with the old favorite.

It's a bar pizza. Very greasy, had to use a ton of napkins to remove it. The flavor was decent, however. Very yummy. But it's almost as if they ruin it with having literally oil soaked fried cheese on top. Prefer an average NY slice to this any day. Staff were very nice. Place looks updated inside.

Hot oil pepperoni. Best pizza in Stamford, crunchy, thin, delicious.

Like cardboard and grease had a gross baby. Tough, dry flavorless and greasy. People must be buying the hype because the pizza ain’t worth it.

Top notch bar style pizza! WAY better than the Sallys Stamford location. Try the hot oil pie for a spicy twist on plain.

Slightly better than Colony. Maybe it’s that extra grease on top?

Pretty good but I like traditional pizza better

1 hot oil pie and a lemonade, 3:30pm on a Monday, $16 and change Pros: Delicious thin, crispy bar pie Cons: Gets cold quick but that’s the nature of cracker thin pizza. Eat it quick Verdict: This is the third Riko’s I’ve been to, I accident went to a different one the first try and then passed another take out location recently and I loved it every time. This one was the best at what I’m pretty sure is the original location. I’ve been calling Colony Grill a top 5 of mine for a long time but Riko’s is growing on me and now I like them better. This pizza is fantastic

Good bar pizza, thin and crispy pretty tasty. Cheese is ok but hot oil is better. Bar pizza isn’t really my preference. What’s you get past the thin crispy crust there’s not too much going on in my opinion. But for what it is it’s pretty solid. 7.2
