Thin crust that goes all the way to the end of the pie. Tons of flavor the hot oil and the Hawaiian are both great

Good bar pizza, thin and crispy pretty tasty. Cheese is ok but hot oil is better. Bar pizza isn’t really my preference. What’s you get past the thin crispy crust there’s not too much going on in my opinion. But for what it is it’s pretty solid. 7.2

Between this and Colony I call it a tie. Riko’s is even thinner and sauce cheese ration are good but less than colony but that’s not a bad thing. Sauce is incredible tasting melding perfectly with the cheese and a little bit of grease coming through on the well done cook. Crust also has amazing flavor and good crisp undercarriage, more crackery than colony but again Riko’s is an awesome place with great people!!

We love Rikos. Highly recommend dining in. Meat lovers hot oil and plain cheese.

Buttery pie with good cheese and that classic Connecticut cracker crust. Loved it.

Paper thin pizza. Nice and crispy. Highly recommend getting some hot oil for dipping.

8.1. Very similar to Colony. I think colony is a tiny bit better.

High Hopes. This Pizza looked great, had all the qualities i like but.. was let down. The Crust was chewy and not alot of flavor. Im sure eating this pizza in house would be a different experience..

If you know about Riko’s pizza, there’s a good chance you’ve had Colony Grill before. It’s no surprise Riko’s pies look very similar to the thin crust bar pies that Colony serves because it’s essentially the same recipe that was replicated by a former Colony cook and rebranded as Riko’s. If you’ve read some of the reviews, you’ll see this style pizza is very polarizing. While some love the thin crust style, others dismiss it as cheese & ketchup on a cardboard cracker. I’m actually a fan of this “change on pace pie.” Super thin, incredible crisp & crunch, just enough sauce & cheese with a really nice flavor that’s unique to bar pies. While I do like Colony, I give Riko’s the slight edge for their dough being more like a thin pizza dough and less like a cracker. You can’t go wrong with either joint. Both make really solid bar pies; and while Colony is the original, Riko’s is just a notch better.

Glad to be back rippin reviews! At one of my local favorites. Similar to the GOAT Colony Pizza, Riko’s is very good bar pizza. Little greasier than it’s competitor. However, this thin crispy bar pie is tasty and should be tried by all.
