There are only a handful of spots in the Northeast I haven’t had a chance to try and I’m hoping to knock out 2 of them today. The 1st stop... Rising Sun Pizza. First off, literally the best value I’ve seen in the city. $1.08 for a slice. It makes sense though... very small slice...thick/doughy Greek style pie. Heavy on the cheese and still a decent amount of sauce. Flavor wise...it wasn’t bad... but that doesn’t mean it was anywhere near elite. They’ve got a really nice seating area and nice location...but the pizza is right on average. If you want thicker and doughy...I guess you could give it a shot.
