Buffalo Pizza Guy is back in Buffalo! Here’s my first review back from vacation.
Similar to Detroit style pizza (not thin, not deep, right in the middle). The dough is fresh and the slice had some nice crispness to it both in the bottom and in the crust. The sauce has just enough seasoning to elevate it out of the “plain” category. The cheese is good and the pepperoni is standard.
Overall, I like this pizza but would ordering a whole pie be this consistent? Remember, re-heats give that crispness to the slice. This is good pizza and with some refinement to the sauce, this could be great pizza. 6.9, book it!
