Rizzoli's Pizza

Used to be so good years ago, downhill sadly

Let’s start with the good. The cheese is good. Not as flavorful as I like but it wasn’t bad. Now for the very bad. The sauce is terrible. The problem with the sauce is it tastes like a jar pizza sauce with absolutely no seasoning. It makes the pizza end up tasting like cafeteria pizza with some upgraded mozzarella. This place was a disappointment.

Solid slice. A bit greasier than you want but good flavor solid mix of taste.

Just happened to be passing by and looked them up quickly from the road, and saw some high ratings. 1. Immediately I noticed the sign hanging bragging they use one of the best cheeses ( which I agree with) in the biz, grande cheese. 2. Huge slice coming way over the paper plate it was on. 3. The dough was one of the most perfect crispy ones I had in a while. This, along with great cheese would have made it easily in the 8's. Unfortunately the sauce was almost non- existent with not much kick to it.

This is just very solid, almost perfect New York styled pizza. Its very light, not chewy, nice solid crisp on the undercarriage. You can get two giant slices and a soda for 6$. Only thing lacking is the sauce is kinda basic boy.

Just an OK pizza. Crust had a nice crunch but a lot of flop. Was a little greasy and surprisingly bland until I got to the crust. Seeing all the 7+ reviews gave me high hopes but was let down.

Lot of grease, little flop solid pie

Very good slice here Frankie...good sauce/cheese coverage so it’s consistent in every bite. HUGE slice...Crispy crust $6.25 for two HUGE slices. Nice work!

Good pizza. A little greasy but overall flavor is good. Would’ve liked a little more crisp on the bottom.

This is good solid pizza. Great sauce. Like the cooked down kind grandma made. A bit greasy and big flop, but it’s not soft... it’s a heavy pie. Not in the 8’s but 7.9 is good all day!

Pizza was decent, nice flop and thin crust which I like. Bottom was crispy but the dough under sauce was very doughy. Pepperoni was decent. Sauce was very good but not very much of it. Pizza was also very greasy which is a big downfall for me. 6.2 and that’s a review.

Big slices, huge flop, perfect amount of cheese, tangy sauce, nice chewy crust as you get further into the slice past the flop. I think they use a little too much sauce which causes it to be a bit soggy in the middle. Good slice though, true NY style pizza, not too heavy. Parmigiana cheese sprinkled on the outer crust is a nice touch and gives it some tang. I like it and I’d like to try a small sized full pie next time to see the difference in flop/sog.
