Rizzo's Fine Pizza

Absolutely get the square slice. For whatever reason the normal slice didn’t do much for me, but that crispy square is fantastic. I could eat 50 in a row. Great prices and specials and a classic Queens spot.

Our favorite slice in Queens. Light, tangy sauce, flavorful, delicious.

One of the better spots in Astoria. Ultra thin light slice, if they could have gotten a little bit of a crisp on it, this would have gone over an 8.0. Good quality ingredients. I went with thin crust pepperoni. This is a place that I will reorder from.

Solid slice. Nothing negative to say here.

Plain slice is actually the star here great ratio and super thin coulda been more well done but hit the spot great cheese pull and flavor. The square I’m 8.1 crunchy crust sauce plentiful and the cheese was silky but felt like it was missing a little more hard cheese. Either way at great slices but if I had to pic one I’d go round.

Good pizza. It’s like a gourmet ellios. Like if you told your Nona to make you an ellios from scratch.

New ownership got better than last time great sauce, quality cheese, that crust is still different,almost like a cookie or phillo dough like..it’s thin and cooked right..just the texture, not bad just not my style

Interesting design, but average pizza at best!! First time I ever saw a single strand of cheese on a Sicilian slice. It’s more sauce then anything, easily a one bite slice. I didn’t like the taste, but for Sicilian slice lovers, this might be your cup of tea. Enjoy!!

I was drawn here because of all the hype. This place has been in business for 60 years. I just don’t understand what all the hype about this pizza is. I had to square it was horrible cardboard bland sauce. Then I tried the round I bought an entire pie and it’s extremely floppy the sauce is very bland and the crust is just horrible no crisp no nothing absolutely disappointed.

Solid slice. Great sauce. Slight tang. Very light. Decadent crisp.

This place does exactly what Vezzo’s does but not nearly as good. Extremely salty and slightly too greasy. As with Vezzo it’s paper thin and more of a cracker with sauce and cheese on it than an actual pizza. I really prefer a thin crust pizza that’s actually pizza and not a cracker but I enjoyed the hell out of Vezzo and was hoping this would be an even better option that happens to be in delivery distance to my home but unfortunately that wasn’t the case

Been wanting to try Rizzo’s for a while now. Got the square and the Reggie. The square is definitely a solid slice, nice crisp, marinara is great, just wish it had more cheese. Reggie slice is just that, regular, 5.8, just misses the mark completely that the square hits so well.

Yum! The best thin crust ever! Round pie is my favorite.

This is good neighborhood pizza. We all enjoyed our super thin and saucy slices. If I was in the area I Would definitely stop for a quick slice.

Had to try Rizzo’s after seeing daves review of the same place but in the location in Manhattan. It’s very good pizza I don’t know about the 8.6 that Dave gave but the people were very friendly and makes it worth coming here alone. The pizza is light and crispy with good sauce and cheese. It’s a rookie score but 8.0 is very fair. It’s very good pizza

What’s up with the folded crust? Like what do you do with that? The taste was just average. I can’t wrap my mind around why they fold the crust? It’s definitely a thin slice pizza slice but there was no char. It had crispness but I could’ve had a little more flavor in the dough.

Good service, pretty decent crust. Simple but sweet sauce. Not doughy at all which is good. Average thin square
