This is not your normal Neapolitan pizza. It has no flop. The ingredients are beyond fresh. Well done overall, the sauce, the crust has a crunch at times... well done undercarriage. The normal Neapolitan score is like the Prez says a 6.8.... this goes way beyond a normal Neo

This is basically the king of Brooklyn, New York Hipster Neapolitan pizza. I love their cheese. Their sauce is good. I think the crust is delicious, but I wish it was crispier. Either way, this place is great. Check it out.

9.1——No pizza that I’ve tried matches the pure perfection that is Roberta’s. Their sauce is tangy with the perfect amount of sweetness with a hint of some secret flavor that can’t be described. The charred crust is full of flavor and the chewiness is amazing. And the cheese an basil are perfectly fresh and light. This pie manages to be incredibly satisfying while also being light and fresh. For the Bee Sting pie, I’d go as far as giving it a 9.4+. It’s just heavenly.

Good tasting pizza but way to small and very expensive for what you get. Ridiculous prices for such small pies (17-22$). The cheese and the char were the best part of the pie. The dough was somewhat soft and the pie was without any crunch and needed more sauce . Overall a good slice but not worth the money. Roberta’s as a restaurant will nickel and dime you any way they can from the 4$ disgusting homemade ice tea to the 3 spoon fulls of Parmigiana cheese which they actually charge a 1$ fee for. If they served burgers they would of charged you for the ketchup.

I’m starting to notice a trend with Neapolitan pizza: the vast majority have a nice char but are still super soft with terribly chewy crusts. Not sure why these pies aren’t more crispy; they’d be a hell of a lot better if they were. Roberta’s falls right in line with the soft Neapolitan style personal pies and they bang you for almost $20 a pop. The mozzarella is the best ingredient on this pizza, very tasty and just enough to go around. The sauce is rather light with no real distinct flavor and a little watery from the fresh mootz. It’s not terrible though, just needs a little kick. While I usually like fresh basil, this is super weak, charred and scant. Even though the dough is soft, it’s still very tasty; could easily push this score higher if it were crispier. The terrific cheese saves this pizza from dipping under 7. As is, it’s a pretty overrated 7.4...not terrible for a Neapolitan pie.

What unique flavors at this joint! I tried the famous original and the bee sting honey pizza my friend ordered. They cook chilli flakes into the pizza so it has zest, but the flavor is popping. Might not be for everyone but for both the bee sting and the famous orignal...SOLID 8.5.
