Overall solid, crust a bit too crispy

I don’t know how you could make better crust, sauce was great as well. I’ve found a place I won’t miss when in Chicago.

The crust, sauce, and cheese on The Lia were flavorful and great.

$33 for 12 inch pepperoni pizza. Pretty decent crunch and thick (but tasty) crust on the ends with just enough char. Cheese and sauce were very good as well. A pretty impressive pie. Also with a nice outdoor river view to enjoy the meal.

By far the best pizza I’ve had amazing flavor great char and perfect ratios.

Found this place from the app while in Chicago for the bears game, awesome pizza and all the cheese is homemade from the owners brother over by where we live in Indiana.

One bite, everyone knows the rules. Over from England for some fall football and a trip to Roberts has been earmarked for months. The Lia did not disappoint!

Good char, Chicago flop, sweet sauce, great under carriage, not enough cheese. Everyone knows the rules.

Sauce is fantastic. Dough a little bit soft on the undercarriage but that may be from ordering delivery. Fresh crispy undercarriage would push this into the low to mid 8s

Great service and killer dough as the name suggests. Specialty pies and a table by the water is worth the trip. Not deep dish but won’t disappoint!

Crust was too thick.. no one eats the crust here. With that said the first two bites are so freaking good!

This is my first one bite review but I am a classic New Haven guy who knows what style is the best. This pizza is most definitely the best you’re gonna find in this area of Chicago. Although the cheese is a bit soupy on the top and you can see that a bit in Dave’s video, it’s a really nice tasting cheese and the sauce ties it all together. The crust is almost identical to one you would find in the outside towns around New Haven similar to where I live and there is almost no flop. The only negative thing I can say about this pizza is that you must eat it quick because once the cheese becomes a little too cold it hardens up. Still tastes good but not as good. Finally they had really quick service although very expensive it is a place you could go if you prefer New Haven style and you’re in the area.

Tried kids cheese pizza after it tasted better than the adult pizza with a few toppings, little soggy in middle but rest was crispy

Really cool spot on the water, and one of the best pizzas I have had! Crazy good!

Sorry Dave, I think you got this one wrong! Meets the best in NYC.
