Rocco's Pizza

New York- ish style. Not a ton of flavor but overall a very good beach side pie

The community score is pretty on the money - very solid pizza. There’s not many places in the area that do a NY/NJ thin crust style pizza well for a reasonable price, or even do it at all. Nice sauce, minimal flop, not overly greasy at all. Good stuff.

The pie uses average ingredients. The cheese was similar to what you would find from a supermarket blend. The sauce was virtually nonexistent, you could hardly taste it. The crust was good. More importantly the za was cooked perfectly. It had a very satisfying crunch with every bit. For that even though the ingredients were only worth about a 6 rating the pizza gets a 6.7.

Love the slices here! Thin and crispy. Just the right amount of sauce an cheese and not that greasy cheese either. If you like pizza and are at oob, stop and get a slice.

Very good sauce. A little too much cheese. No crunch really. A little doughy.

Solid beach pizza. Maybe even a step up to be honest. Ordered a slice, had a nice crispy crunch and great cheese to sauce ratio. The best rated on this app for a reason. Reminded me of Providence.

It’s ok. Ok crust ok sauce ok cheese. Would not last toe toe with new haven or New York. Whoever wrote that was drunk. Better than bills not worth $4 a slice. If you’re drunk and in the area stop in.

Let me tell you somethin.........Rocco’s pizza can do 9 out of 12 rounds in a boxing match with a slice of New York/New Haven style pizza in the other corner. Phenomenal pizza! The crust is crunchy all they way around, and don’t get me going on the sauce. Bills Pizza across the street has the juice......but Rocco’s got the sauce. I don’t trust any pizza this far away from home, but Rocco’s holds it down in O.O.B.

Very light but crispy crust, perfect cheese to sauce ratio. Best in OOB in my opinion.

The cheese correlates well as it flows into the crust. Good flop. Good crunch on the crust.
