Rockaway Pizzeria

Phenomenal undercarriage. Great flop. Rip is good. Astonishing toppings and one of the best flavored crusts I have ever come across. Sauce is always perfect, not too much, and perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. Crust crunches, but is chewy in the center.

First time at Rockaway last night. I completed the 8.2 crew. It was fabulous! I would score higher!

The granny style is great! I haven't had their regular pizzas but the sesame seed crust on the granny pie combined with the thick but chewy crust was awesome.

I will glaze the fuck out of this pie, it rocks. Perfect burn, one of the top tier crusts I’ve had. Nothing on this pie lacks flavor, everything plays together as a team. A little flop but it holds its own with a beautiful undercarriage. The most pleasant surprise to the area

Quality pizza

This can go toe to toe with any of the best NYC pizzas. Fantastic all around. Sweet ample sauce, wonderfully charred yet puffy crust. Little flop in the center from the pepperoni grease but forgivable. Rad staff. Up there for best wheel in the burgh with Lupo and Driftwood.

Got "The White" pizza with added pepperoni from Rockaway and although there was a wait for it I can see why. Arrived and due to the volume of orders it was dine in only. Top tier crust and ingredients would absolutely go back.Their scillian pizza looked amazing and will be going back for that next. All around really good pizza they live up to their reputation. New location is perfect for a night out.

I reviewed Rockaway’s original spot in White Oak back in 2021 and it was pretty good, but I thought it was a tad plain for the hype it generates. Since I already did a regular circle pizza back then, I decided to try the Grandma pizza this time. It was either between the Sicilian or the Grandma, but the sesame seed crust enticed me to try this one, and I’m sure glad I did. It was cooked perfectly and it was some of the best crust I’ve ever tasted. The cheese was very good, but I thought the sauce was very plain. I remember thinking that a couple years ago too, but this pizza was certainly a lot better than just the regular circle cheese pizza.
