Rocky's Bar and Eatery

Right next to Rich’s old apt, inspired of course by the great Rocky Balboa. Mexican restaurant too if you’re feeling burritos, tortas, etc. People there seemed really nice. Went with the XL round pizza, didn’t realize they have Sicilian option too would be curious to check that out. Initially didn’t like the cheese it was way too thick too chewy and falling off the crust but it’s better and less messy as it cools. Crust is on the light side almost as thick as the layer of cheese. Sauce was fine maybe a tad thick I don’t think the crust could support extra but might like to test it out. Overall a solid neighborhood pizza. Had to try the Mexican Cake (“tres leches”) as a bonus, it’s closer to the Sam’s Club style bc it has fruit filling in the middle some kind of nuts on the ends and not in a pool of milk but the cake did have some kind of moisture to it which I take as an ode to the style. Overall not bad.
