OK, this is why we do these reviews. This is why I check this ap for new spots to hit up even when I'm in my own home city. I am home for the day and I decide to meet my wife for lunch so, naturally I check the ap. And I find Roma Capoccia. I had never heard of it before. Why? Because it just opened 2 months ago. This is excelent Pizza. Its gourmet. Its traditional. Its different. Its Not your regular Neoplolitan, or NYC slice, or New Haven Appiza ,or anything I've tried from NJ, LI, or even from here in Providence. For me, this is in a different division by itself. Same league but an expansion joint that's championship material straight out the gate. The crust is light and crispy with every bite. Every slice had a distinct and flavorful sauce. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. But, the best part was that I ate 4 slices and could have eaten 10 more. So light. No greasy bogged down gut feeling after. I wasnt going to give it a 9 because its not really a cheese pizza but it blew me away. Top spot in RI right now, no doubt.
