Rosa's Pizza

Upside down slice looked the most fresh had it. Was actually great texture crust but those sauce lacked. Overall pretty decent.

Went here immediately after Best Pizza and L’Industrie. Completely different pizza experience - while those two places class up their NY slices, Rosa’s is about as no bullshit as you can get. My neighborhood slice baseline is 7.7, and I knew the entire time I was eating the pizza that it would be within 0.1 of that. Ended up going with 7.8 because it’s slightly better than my local spot. About as typical a New York slice as you can find.

A solid slice with a great density and toughness/chewiness in the dough. The sauce is not sweet, which I prefer, but overall each bite leaves a salty taste. But, it’s also on the cheesier side which is probably the reason for that salty finish. ——————— Sicilian Slice: 7.4 — Still salty, but an AMAZING juxtaposition between the crispy under carriage and pillowy top. Ravioli Slice: 8.5 — if you come to Rosa’s, you’re messing up if you don’t get this.

Could have been better, super greasy and not cooked enough

Absolutely a great slice. This place blows “Best pizza” out of the water. The hype “Best” has of a 9.1 is crazy. Rosas is the real deal. Good quality, $2.75 a slice. And friendly service.

Solid solid slices over here. Upsides down, solid. Vegan, solid. Ravioli STAND OUT slice. Fun, funny slice of pizza. Had a good time, good people.

Combined score for regular, margarita, and upside down. All are solid. Upside down is the best.

Cheese slice was below average. Sicilian was decent but too salty and a direct rip off of L&B Spumoni Garden. One and done for me.

Classic Brooklyn grandma slice , fresh mozzarella and grated cheese do it nice. Tomatoes tasted nice and tangy not too sweet , crispy on the bottom

Plain was solid, probably a 7.1 if wasn’t drunk but the speciality ones were better IMO. The ravioli slice intrigued me and was very good. Grandma pie was great and L&B style were also good.

Didn’t expect to like a Sicilian slice this much. Perfect cheese to sauce to dough ratio. Crispy crust with good chew. Cheese pulls on every bite.

Hard to recommend over best pizza just a 4 minute walk away. Very solid slice, though.
