One of my Co-workers just gave me a slice of their pizza! What a frickin’ pal.
Never had Chicago Deep Dish. Pretty darn tasty i have to admit. Not exactly what i would consider a “Pizza”. More of a casserole. This thing had a thick buttery crunchy bottom, lots of real italian sausage pieces, and pepperoni in it. Thick slices of a “stewed tomato” type of tomatoes on top which i enjoyed on this type of pie. Had a generous amount of cheese and a sauce with a whole lot of zest and zing. If i had one thing to change about it, would it be the sauce? I think it could of been a little less acidic? Not enough to dock any major points for though. I would definitely eat here again, and if Chicago Style is what you’re into, you have to try this spot.
