Rosati's Pizza

Rated this top of above average range. I like the sauce, there’s a tang to it. It actually has seasoning on it(unlike most everywhere else around). The cheese is good. Everything about this pizza is good except the dough. It’s cooked well, but the dough is more like a flatbread or pita. The dough is unfortunately a big miss but overall this is still a solidly above average pizza I would choose over most all options in the area. If it had the correct dough with the same kind of home made family recipe flavor like the sauce has. This easily gains a whole point and becomes one of the best pies around.

Nothing special to say either way. Lot of cheese needed to be cooked a little longer.

I was getting bombarded with advertisements of this newly opened up Pizzeria in Largo. They have about 200 locations. 1. They closed down a couple years ago but now opened in the same location with all new equipment. They are located between Home Depot and Publix on Ulmerton. 2. They have a nice history of this family business, and I had high hopes that it wouldn't be too much like a chain. 3. Pizza slices sit in a warmer and are served as is. Dough was like frozen pizza, cheese was ok. Sauce you can tell is a quality family recipe, but I did not care for that type of flavor, for my liking. 4. Huge, heavy, doughy and filling is what you get for $4.75.
