I’ve been here over 100 times in my life so lot to say on this one. The meatball is probably the best you’ll ever have with the garlic combining really well. Score would be higher solely for the meatball but the cheese brings it down. Cheese is a little too oily and often has clumps of tomato- no comparison to the meatball which is odd. Poor man’s pie is also solid. Service is straightforward and they really don’t care about your nitpicking: it is what it is and you can leave if you want because they have tons of business since 1935 Chicken parm is phenomenal as is he bread it is served with. If you like side salads heavy on oil and vinegar with fresh carrots- your place for that too. Enjoy.

Been eating pizza here since 1976. Born and raised here. Ordered a small for myself and killed it. The crunch, the garlic, the char,the sauce!! Tremendous!! Need to come home and visit mom more often!

It feels like the pizza starts with a nice thin, crispy crust and then topped with a delicious perfectly portioned sauce to mozzarella cheese ratio. The slice is big so you can fold it while eating it. The kids thought the crust was hard, but that is part of the charm. Little burnt pieces handed over to me and Maria by the littles made for good snacking until the next pizza came out.

My first Apizza experience and it was spectacular. Beautiful undercarriage great cheese and sauce. Paper thin with a charred crust.

My 200th review. Great pie and historic establishment in my birth town. The cheese tasted better as it congealed and the clam pie was loaded with fresh, perfectly cooked clams. Love it. Sorry Dad.

Dave definitely over hyped this one. All cheese no sauce flavor. The greasiness of the pie comes from having either too much cheese or too wet of a mozz. Not bad but not 8.5 at all.

A little greasy but great taste! The sauce had a good flavor. It was also nice to know they partnered with their local brewery so you could get their pizza while visiting the brewery as well

Thin and beautiful with a great taste. A little greasy but if you take the grease away maybe the taste suffers so it is what it is. A beautiful pizza and nice people too.
