Outstanding pie all around.

A little soupy at some parts, undercarriage still stayed firm, taste was great, meatball was amazing.

A little less cheese and more sauce and it would have been higher. Still solid pizza.

Very good pie, could’ve been in the 8’s if it wasn’t so greasy and cooked a little bit longer

*BONUS OWNER MEETING* - great guy! amazing pizza. floppy off the bat but it was incredible. there were some burnt clumps of cheese in the middle that were just outstanding. although there was some flop, you must try this mix a if you’re going to the new haven spots!!

Great pizza. A little heavy and oily but great flavor. Great crisp and crust.

Old school New Haven style. High quality. Had cheese pie and sausage pie . Both very good, just not as good as Modern and Pepe’s in my book. Enjoyed 7/23 took it to go, probably better in house or out of the box in the parking lot.

Good Za. Cheese was a little greasy. “The Works” was a little soggy/floppy.

Legit. El Presidente is no slouch.

Been eating pizza here since 1976. Born and raised here. Ordered a small for myself and killed it. The crunch, the garlic, the char,the sauce!! Tremendous!! Need to come home and visit mom more often!

It feels like the pizza starts with a nice thin, crispy crust and then topped with a delicious perfectly portioned sauce to mozzarella cheese ratio. The slice is big so you can fold it while eating it. The kids thought the crust was hard, but that is part of the charm. Little burnt pieces handed over to me and Maria by the littles made for good snacking until the next pizza came out.

My first Apizza experience and it was spectacular. Beautiful undercarriage great cheese and sauce. Paper thin with a charred crust.

Great crisp on the crust and nice flavor. One critique is that there was a little too much cheese, which kept it from reaching an 8+

My 200th review. Great pie and historic establishment in my birth town. The cheese tasted better as it congealed and the clam pie was loaded with fresh, perfectly cooked clams. Love it. Sorry Dad.
