Rose’s Pizza

Cheesy messy but delightfully saucy with a mostly crunchy chassis. One slice would’ve been enough. Happy though for the second.

Very good pizza. Sauce forward pie like I like it. I got a vodka pie too which was very greasy and kind of expensive but I’d get the regular pizza again. Also, this place is randomly the championship belt holder for tuna sandwich in the area, it’s the tits

Thin and crispy

Definitive NJ Sicilian pie right here!!! Cooked well done crust had a great lower crunch while retaining the pillowy pockety interior. Great corner and crust char with that buttery taste towards the middle of the pie and lots of bubble pockets from the pan on the undercarriage. An abundant amount of silky tasty satisfying cheese over top an equally rationed amount of sauce. The sauce is rich, lightly seasoned with tang and kick that’s noticeable and perfect for the pie. Awesome people workin here, old school joint fantastic service!!

Pizza is a little tough. Not to much flavor

Extra cheese Sicilian

I've been to this little strip mall before where Rose's is, but I believe this was my first time trying their pizza. Bought a Sicilian pie and had a regular slice while waiting. Reg slice way too greasy, wasn't great. Still tough to tell true flavor from a reheated slice. Sicilian was good, sound flavor but I've had better at other places.

If it wasn’t for the messy center, easily would have been an 8.4. Crust crisp at the top, good flavor combination of cheese and sauce.

MAJOR flop, very greasy, sort of like how a pepperoni slice is. Slice had a pretty good taste considering all the above.

If I was rating the Sicilian pie, it’d get marginally higher. Still a good slice.

Roses is my favorite slice in Bergen County NJ. I go miles out of my way to grab a couple slices. For me nothing else comes close in this area. Crisp bottom, no flop crust and a good tang in the sauce. The cheese is delicious as well. A slice that never disappoints. These guys have been doing this for years and it never changes. A damn near perfect slice. Just try it.

I used to live in Garfield years ago but I still come back because this is the best pizza in New Jersey. This is authentic Italian New York type of pizza .Dominic and Tony are the real deal

This is your traditional football pie. The perfect mix of cheese and sauce creating zero flop and a great crunchy crust. This place has been a staple for40+ years. Dominic bangs out fresh pizzas all day long, while Tony makes the best sandwiches around. Order a #1 parm with everything! You won’t be disappointed. People who moved away from this area still come back just to have the pizza and subs from this joint! I’ve been eating here since I was a kid and nothing has changed except the decor. It’s actually a sin that Davey hasn’t come here yet for a one bite review.
