Pizza Review
🏖BEST OF THE BEACH ALERT🏖 Don’t expect to stroll off the street and grab a slice here; they have very specific hours and a tight ordering window before they are sold out for the day. Closed on Mondays & Tuesdays and done every night by 8pm (7pm on Sundays); it’s not that easy to get yourself a pie at this joint. Self-proclaimed Artisan (hand-crafted) pizza makers, their ingredients are super fresh and delicious. All pies are prepared well done, with fantastic thin & crispy dough and a substantial char on the thicker but light & airy crust. With the wonderfully fresh mozzarella and sliced garlic, the pie looks and feels more like a Margherita pizza. The milled tomatoes in the sauce are bursting with flavor, accentuated by the fresh cut basil and extra virgin olive oil bringing all of the outstanding ingredients together cohesively into a tantalizingly terrific pizza. If the crust were significantly thinner and tasted less burnt, this pie could easily slide into the vaunted 9s. But as it is, this is one of the best pies you’ll find at the Jersey Shore and is well worth traveling from just about anywhere to get a taste.
