This place is spectacular. Plain and simple. Great pies, great owner and staff and the meatballs are fire. Well worth a trip, just definitely call ahead!

Perfect balance between chewy and crispy. The sauce has some nice tang. Solid pizza spot.

How it should be done.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. So much flavor. If you like a nice char- this is for you.

Char was great. A little grease fest. Tighten that up and this pie could easily be in the high 8s.

Delicious sauce and cheese. Airy, bubbly crust but a little too heavy on the sourdough taste. Does not have the same magic when reheated.

High quality pie right here. Awesome crust, thin and crispy, flavorful. Perfect cheese to sauce. Really good pizza. Worth the high scores easily.

Being that I live 5 minutes away I was hoping this lived up to all the hype. It didn’t. The edges are too thick and about 1.5” wide at points. Wider crust means less ingredients in between. If you’re going this wide at least char it more and add more sauce which by the way did not have much flavor. Disappointing, especially considering I had to order this hours in advance. Not worth the wait.

Tried Vic’s in Bradley Beach, NJ(8.3), Conte’s in Princeton New Jersey(8.9). Dave rated this an 8.5 but this truly is outstanding. Only open for 5 years but my entire family loved it. Seriously no complaints. Grandma in NJ made us write this restaurant down so she could remember it to go back. Truly outstanding! Rating this a 9.1, we will be coming back!
