Nice and thin with good flavor.

Alright ordered from Round Pie on Albanian Independence Day. It’s a day of celebration for the Albanians and I decided to contribute to that. I have to be honest not bad. A lot going on but it has a unique taste to it. My only criticism is a little too much Parm on it. But I think it’s a solid 7.4. after eating this pie I wanna go smoke Marlboro reds outside a Dunkin.

This crust with little to no flop. Sauce is tasty. Cheese is good. I’d definitely hit this place up again when in the area.

Served a few degrees below hot in 4-5 minutes with no Victory Ave flop and a hard Strong Island crisp. First Bite Score: 7.1 The sauce is very tangy without hardly any seasoning or salinity. The mozzarella is decent and a tad higher than mid. There is a slight chew and decent saltiness. The dough is razor thin and charred to perfection. The undercarriage is nicely done with a good amount of bubbling. The ratio is a tad off with the dollops of unseasoned tomato sauce. Sub Score: 6.9 SAUCE: 🍅🍅 This needs some seasoning and maybe play around with the recipe that uses a cooking method to develop flavors that are more pronounced. Dough: 🫓🫓🫓🫓 Almost perfect. There were some spots not fully cooked through, but that was because of the dollops of tomato sauce I’d imagine. Mozzarella: 🧀🧀 Nothing new here, just use better quality with a bit more salinity Ratio: 2/5 Not balanced again, by the splotches of Tom sauce. Summary: This is good but most of the slices are off by just a bit. A little more focus on the quality and less on the gimmick and trendiness. One king-hell of a base, with a few tweaks this can be a high 7.0’s even low 8.0’s Final Score…

Very Good! Cooked perfectly!

Best in Staten Island? I’d say. Very enjoyable sauce with pomodoro tomato sauce. Crispy, light, thin. Leaves a little to be desired with the “wow” factor, maybe a little more tang to the sauce would push it in to the mid 8’s. Undercarriage was crisp and cooked well, with little flop. Definitely the best I’ve had in Staten Island so far.

[BRICK, NJ LOCATION] Very reminiscent of Denino’s (which also has a Brick location). Great crust and great sauce. Could use a stronger cheese flavor.

Very tangy sauce. Fantastic thin crust. The parmesan on the crust was a nice touch and quality ingredients are noticeable. Crust is a bit chewy towards the center

Solid pizza for Staten Island.

@matawan This thin "round pie" pizza was a pleasant surprise. Cooked crispy and evenly with little to no flop when folded. Could have a little more sauce.

Cheese slice

I visited their new location the other day but I never had a chance to visit their first location on S.I. So why not. The orginal was a 7.7. The pizza was solid this time but for some reason not as good as the first time I had it.

Score for the regular cheese. Nice slice. Thin crust not doughy at all. Very crispy with a good amount of sauce. Other slice was the grandma which was a bit heavier. I’d say 6.9 for the grandma

…really good plain slices! Great crust and flavahhhhhh! Very good slices that hits the spot everytime …but the star pie for me is their Hot Honey Roni with the Hot Honey on it! Truly great pie !

Great crust. Nice balance of sauce and cheese. Sauce lacks a little Flavor, minor flop. Good pizza. The specialty pizza is even better (8.2)

The pepperoni have it the score bump! With just the cheese I was going 7.6-7.7, but the roni was great. I think there was honey on it. Interesting and great tasting pizza!

One bite in the work van before you pull away, everyone knows the rules. Favorite pie on Staten Island so far. Delicious.
