Rubinos Pizza

This is a classic, throwback cash-only pizza shop with an iconic sign, pay phone, ice cold pop served out of the can, Ms Pac Man machine, and a rotary phone at the register that rings non-stop with new orders. We ordered one sausage and onion and one pepperoni. Cracker thin, crispy crust cooked perfectly. If you like Columbus tavern-style pizza as I do, this is among the very best in the city and in the conversation for the best in Ohio.

Cracker thin crust. Full mushroom, 1/2 sausage. Large pie. Delicious. Great crispness on the crust. Sauce isn’t sweet. Toppings are fresh and flavorful.

Overall I liked the flavor and the pepperoni was great. Good taste, but too thin for this to be a regular spot for me. However, if you are into very thin crust then I recommend.

Old school, cash only pizza place with paper bags instead of boxes. Cracker thin crust had a great crunch. The ezzo pepperoni did not over power the sauce and cheese. Definitely not just another tavern or “Columbus style” pizza.

Should have asked for extra pep but after adding parmesan cheese it was even better. Very old school pizza shop great feel!

Old school cash only place. 4th generation family run shop. I’ve been going there 40 years Cracker thin. Eat it there the first time. It gets cold. Order extra cheese. If you don’t like cracker thin pizza, this is not your place.

This was way better than expected. I like a good crunch to my crust when eating my pizza,(not burnt)and this thin crust nailed it.

Pizza was simply too thin didn’t even feel like a slice of pizza. Appropriate amount of cheese and sauce given the thinness of the crust. Enjoyed the taste.

Flavor is decent, nothing special. The crust was far too thin for my liking, it was quite literally a cracker. Best part is sauce

This is a solid pie if you like thin crust. I’m talking probably one of the thinnest pizzas I’ve ever had. Good crunch to the crust. The perfect amount of cheese. The best is the atmosphere here it’s like a time capsule to the 1980s. Cash only, old time feel.

Ultra thin crust, nice crisp, with excellent flavor

Really solid. The toppings make Rubinos. Very light crust, somewhat crackery but not a ton of crunch. No online ordering cash only, real Ginny Shit!!

FYI it’s Cash Only here. Pizza was cold by the time I got home and I immediately left the house to get it when I ordered it. Someone else nailed it with the “pepperoni on a trisket” analogy, this takes crisp to a ridiculous point. Not a lot of flavor to speak of this seems gimmicky. It’s just ultra thin crust Donatos.

Rubinos in Bexley is infamous for their cracker thin crust. Old school pizza from the ‘50s. Can be a bit greasy or dry at times.

This one is gonna be a doozy.. a lot of moving parts. My girlfriend made me get pepperoni, which is fine but not ideal. We had to drive through traffic for a cool 20 min. When we got home, we had to heat this sucker up again. With all this being said. NO cheese on this, it’s like eating a triscuit with pepperoni... I’d like to think it would be better out of the oven, but not anything to write home about. An 8 year old told me it was the best ever, proof you can’t trust kids.
