Saba's Pizza Upper East

I may have gotten a bad slice, but Dave’s rating is way too high. A good pizza, but not an 8. Great crisp on the crust, tangy sauce, but texture was that of a school cafeteria pizza.

This is a really good slice of pizza. Well done undercarriage. Light, crispy, amazing crunch on the crust. The pizza is super light.. can crush a pie. A deduction of points comes from a slightly larger grease drop than usual. Maybe mine was one off but overall a very solid slice of pizza.

Solid pie. Let it sit a minute but eat it hot... tasty sauce. Top notch for ues.

Good slice. Sauce has great flavor, resistance to flop is admirable. 8.4 though... generous. 7.6, would get again. That’s the review.

Very nice slice. Good crisp. Very nice char. Nice and thin crust. Sauce the way I like it - a bit in the sweet side. Nice salty cheese grease but not too much. Zeero flopskies. Worth a trip to the East side which I don’t love doing as an UWS’er.

A great slice Frank. Thin with gooey cheese, great marinara, no flop. Pres nailed it on the head with this one. That’s a review Franklyn!!!

Saba’s Bar pizza. Not as thin as i would have hoped. Still very good pizza, very flavorful and crispy. A def must have on the UES

A really great, thin, crispy slice of pizza. My kind of slice. Great crunch and easy to eat. The sauce was really good too. Definitely worth checking out if you’re on the Upper East Side and you want pizza.

Alright Frankie, very crispy, I wish the crust was a bit thicker but the sauce has a nice tang and not too much cheese.

Better than it looks. Thin, no flop, not too greasy and i was very impressed with the sauce, nice tang to it. It did take a couple bites to really appreciate - i wanted to up my score to an 8 but my GF told me can’t do that, already said 7.9. So there it is.

First of all Todah Raba to El Presidente for the awesome Kosher score! Pizza is great fresh out of the oven. Nice and crispy. Delicious flavor.

Dave sold out on this one. No where near an 8.4 🤦‍♂️

I think David is way off on this one. First I have to say, my review is on a re heated slice which you get the majority of the time if you’re ordering by the slice. There could be a big difference in taste vs a fresh slice. I felt overall it’s a bland slice. No chew in the cheese. Dull sauce. The crust was crispy though.

Solid slice. Had the bones of a great slice. Not a fan of flavor but see where others rank higher
