Disregard the salad please.
I reviewed the Salernos in Oak Park and gave it a 5.9. Let me tell ya, the 8.3 miles between these locations must make all the difference because this pizza was flat out better. The crust was the key difference maker here as it was in that perfect range of complementing, while not overwhelming the pizza. Only complaint may have been an excess of sauce, but that didn’t stop me from giving a high, rookie score
