Outstanding pizza. Worth the three hour trip. The best attribute is the sauce and the cheese.

I get why people like this but the coal fire must not be my thing. Calling this the best pizza in the world is crazy talk. You gotta really like thin slices and well done pizza. Still fresh ingredients and good crust, just not my fav.

I know this is Dave’s app. Dave has his opinions and the people waiting on line are quoting him: Dave gave this place and 9.2. Dave… while I do enjoy your videos, this pizza sucked. It was burnt, the sauce was fresh but one note and the cheese changed its molecular structure after they burnt the pizza. Hard pass from me.

Really awful stuff here guys. Go to NY and get some real pizza. This is burnt cardboard

Dave, Mother Pizzeria in Newport, RI, just opened about a month ago and I know for sure as a longtime pizza aficionado that I indeed have discovered the holy grail of pizza. I live in CT, and agree that New Haven had the best pizza until my wife and I ate pizza at Mother. We started with one pie and the thin sourdough crust provided the perfect crunch you and I look for. The ratio of cheese to sauce was just right as was the undercarriage. It was so good that we had a second pie and finished that one too. I’m telling you Dave that after One Bite, you will get a woody!

By far the BEST pizza I’ve ever had. We also tried the tomato pie It was spectacular.

Excellent pizza. Flavorful sauce, good sauce to cheese ratio, crispy crust, not too thick. Really really good. One bite everybody knows the rules.
