Sally's Apizza

Here it is! Sally’s Apizza (ah-beets) this is WITHOUT a doubt, thee best pizza I have ever had. Everything about this pizza is as good as it gets. The crust, super thin… no flop, with a PERFECT char. Flavor explodes from every bite. The amount of sauce used on this pizza is fantastic. It’s present in every bite and is loaded with flavor. The cheese is as good as it can possibly get. Perfect amount of stretch, every bite before the edge crust, has cheese in it. I’m not sure where they get their ingredients from, but they are flawless. The ratios are perfect! Each bite has crisp, sauce, cheese and each bite is as delicious as the last. The presentation of the pizza is a thing of beauty. It comes out on a giant sheet pan, smoking hot, the smell fills the air, even in the outdoor space, mouths are watering before you even hit the table. I’ve been eating pizza my entire life, I travel to try new pizza and it’s a special experience for me each time. There is no pizza experience that I’ve had that is on the same level as Sally’s. John’s of Bleecker is the closest I’ve had and even that near perfect pizza, falls short of Sally’s. Go to New Haven, go to Sally’s and allow yourself to experience the best pizza you’ve ever had. It will not disappoint.
