Excellent pizza. Something about it was "dry"?? It's really good though

Amongst the Apizzas of New Haven, Sally’s is truly unique. By far the thinnest of the bunch, this is bar pie at its best. Very fresh, strong tomato flavor may not be for everyone, but this is the type of pizza you just can’t get anywhere else.

Big new Haven flop, good sauce, good cheese. Will come back to dine in post-Covid for another score.

Really solid pie- review is on the plain- something about that cheese! Super thin crust, well done and crunchy. Slightly better than pepes down the block in my opinion. (Pepes pepperoni is slightly better, and pepes is better the day after FYI!) Probably a top 5 all time fav slice.

100% lives up to the hype. Prefect ratio of sauce to cheese and the thin crust sends it home. Every pizza should be cooked as well done as this one. Dave was on the money with Sally’s

Reviewed both Pepe and Sally’s same night. Sally’s is a full point better. Crust is much better with better flavor and crunch. Sally’s has good amount of sauce and higher quality. Great pizza! Get this one!

The sauce combined with the coal fire dough is unmatched. Getting it well done makes the crust extra charred which just adds to the coal fired taste. The best pie I’ve had.
