Great pep; very good sauce, but a little stingy (would recommend ordering extra); extremely large pie; crispy undercarriage yet sufficient chew on the inside; for those who like coal oven, the distinct smokey undertone is a nice compliment; meets the high bar set for this place; order well in advance!

I was not impressed. Had high hopes off of Dave’s high score. The crust was the best part, it’s an extremely thin pizza. Not my style, I’m still glad we stopped by on our way from MD to ME.

Amazingly good... love the burnt taste and the sauce is off the charts

Coal fired, New Haven, need I say more? The change in ownership has only helped this Elm City institution.

Best pizza I have tasted to date. Sauce is amazing. Perfectly cooked. The gem of Connecticut and by far best on Wooster street.

Best apizza in the human race! It’s not burnt pizza! For those who know! Light years ahead of New York pizza!

Most def one of the GOATS could’ve used a little less char on the crust but would eat this every day

Lives up to the hype but my nyc bias remains strong. Does not go beyond 8's.

Like how thin it was and the overall char. However sauce left a lot of flavor to be desired. And crust was too burnt, tasted so ashy.

Plain mozzarella: GREAT pizza; sauce is unmatched; a bit of a sweet and savory taste, but just right; not much cheese, but it is made very well and of very high quality; very crispy on the bottom and crust, but much cleaner and less sloppy than Peoe’s; great dough too; a bit floppy, could be a bit firmer
