Wow I am shocked. No it’s not an 8+ but I’m in nowhere VA expecting to get a meatball sub or a pasta dish and I walk in to that great great NY Pizzeria smell. I took a chance. Didn’t disappoint. Great tasting sauce. Too much cheese for me but if that’s your thing it will not disappoint. Cooked on the bricks. Crust good but was not great, that could be the water. Who ever owns this place is from Jersey or NY.

Sal’s Jr is nothing short of its senior Sal’s! I got the Sicilian pie and it was probably around a 7.5 but the regular pie is just as good as Sal’s which is why I give this score an 8.1. Still a great pie overall!

Outer crust is good, the center of the crust is paper thin allowing all the grease to saturate it. Very serious flop, no way you're holding this slice with one hand, even when folded without all the toppings falling off. Decent sauce and good cheese and toppings.

Overall great pizza for the area. Good sauce and good cheese but the crust wasn’t the best and to much flop to give it a higher score. Still the best pizza in the area.
