Phillypies says goodbye to Philly - I’m a valley boy now and this is my first check-in in town. I will miss the Philly pizza scene dearly, nothing in the state can compare to the pizza experiences I’ve had there. But, i am excited to find some great football pizza in the Allentown area - as i recall from my youth there are plenty of desirable spots. Let’s get it

Ordered their Hawaiian pizza. Was pretty good but nothing spectacular. Definitely plenty of toppings!! Flop, as you’d expect, but could have been cooked longer.

Found an Old Forge pizza in Allentown, had to try it… great sweet sauce that reminds me of home but the crust was thin tough and blah (should be light and fluffy), and just regular mozzarella instead of the iconic cheese blends, doesn’t live up to the name but bonus points for trying Got a plain slice and they hooked me up with a second, didn’t give a fair shot since it was reheated but it’s a fine slice, 7.9 all around

Solid pizza, only had time for counter slices would like to try a while pie sometime. Sauce and cheese were basic but good, dough/ crust was the best part. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Great slice.. best with a fresh pie of course.. located in a nice area of Allentown.

Pretty depressing location. Plain slice was really greasy and had no crisp.

Average PA pizza

It was fresh out of the oven however the crust was kind of soggy but the cheese was melting and hot it was really weird. I would’ve gave it at least a full point more if the crust would have been more well done. Good flavor sauce and cheese though

Wanted a plain slice but it looked old and not great. Sauce had decent flavor but chunks of vegetables in it. Overall just not pleasant to me.
