Good pizza with very stringy cheese. A decent amount of grease and flip but overall not bad

Crispy but a bit saggy. More on the greasy side. Cheese matched the sauce. Love the face they have a giant size pizza. Typical Brooklyn style pizza

Good solid pizza. Good crisp. Go here if you need pizza and don't want to be let down. Little greasy. Good taste

Could be crisper but great ingredients

A lot of flop, great crunch to the crust.

Secondary cheese add is unnecessary. It’s great dough base and ok sauce but the cheese is a tad too much. A little floppy but decent overall. Will travel 12 minutes.

Alright Franky...this is Sal’s on the corner of Maple & Wycliff and it’s a no nonsense pizza joint. If you can’t handle a little extra cheese and grease, then stick to the yuppy Neapolitan style so that you can still feel good about whatever your latest fitness fad may be. For the rest of us, this pizza requires a beer or a coke. It’s New York style, with a major flop (and that’s not a bad thing). It’s softer, doughy, and comes with the right amount of extra sauce. Red pepper flakes and a side of ranch give it that extra zing. It’s the kind of pizza that I would order to share with friends and family for the big football game of the week. Score 7.7.

Crust is solid, minimal to no flop. Sauce is normal. Not too tangy or spicy. A little oily.
