Sal's can be a bit hit and miss. Either it's a crispy amazing slice or a greasy gooey mess dripping oil. This particular time was pretty damn good. Mind you at $4 for a cheese slice you can do a lot worse.
Turns into a haven for pissed up kids looking for something to eat on a Saturday night after gigs in whammy/wine cellar. Which only adds to the ambiance.
