Pizza Review
Sals is local to me and I haven’t been for two reasons until now. I thought it was gas station pizza because it is in the same property as one and second they have a sign the says “Where New Yorkers Eat.” Kind of pretentious since the are some other shops nearby that are good. Anyway, I saw some reviews and had to give it a try. My go to is a Pepperoni and Mushroom, and while this pizza was greasy, no points off because I had the pepperoni. It was charred nicely and had a good bite, but to a person we thought the crust wasn’t where it should be, There was no chew. The pie was a little sloppy, sauce tasted good. $14 for a large cheese. $2.10 each topping.
