Look, I'm not gonna review a straight cheese pizza, leave that to Dave. Even with toppings if you order well done, then flop should be close to zero..secondly, if you pay 45$ per 14" pizza, expectations sky rocket. Thirdly, I got no skin this game other than these metrics: delivery, order specifications, price, taste. That's it. THAT BEING SAID, I can see why mountain Mike's got a 2.5. But under my metrics, sal's is a hard 4.8 and mountain Mike's is an easy 5.7 - ..... you're welcome mountain Mike's, sorry Sal, and Dave.... don't bother with either.

Tried Brooklyn Cheese and Grandma Cheese. Brooklyn cheese - crust on verge of too crispy (cracker like), tasty sauce, a little more cheese. Grandma Cheese - good crust, tasty sauce, cheese ok.

One slice cheese is 3.50$. Crispy crust. Lots of flop. A little grease. Lots of cheese. They lose points because the sauce is not very flavorful and there was very little of it. I compare this slice to cheesy bread or a Chuck E Cheese pizza

I tried a cheese slice, a “grandma’, and got a whole margarita pie with some friends this place is not good don’t believe the hype this isn’t what you read about and pictures can only go so far. Scam pizza is what it is.

Good pizza. Sal is from Sicily via NYC so you definitely won’t find a more authentic guy in the area. The grandma slice is good too. Fresh ingredients. The thin crust is little greasy and has some flop. Most authentic NYC slice in Lake Forest.

Stopped in after noticing they sell slices. Ordered a Grandma and a white slice. They were excellent. Family that owns it were in, I spoke to them about the shop. Great Family with Great food.

Very good for what the choices are in the area

Came in right when they opened to taste freshly made slices. Bit on the greasy side. Cheese tasted fresh though. Not too much sauce, wish there was a little more sauce but plenty of cheese and it didn’t fall off. Good pizza.

Sauce had 0 flavor and the pizza was very greasy.
