Although I usually order a straight Pepperoni and Sausage Pie, in order to make my scoring consist, they were out of most toppings, so I ordered a pepperoni, bacon and basil pie. They use diced pepperoni, which I feel is much superior to a normal pepperoni, the bacon was also diced, not bacon bits, and the basil seemed fresh. The fresh toppings resulted in a much lighter tasting pie. We ordered the 10” normal crust. The pie was greater than 10”, more like 12””. And was plenty airy, but still filling. All around it was a great pie to find, especially floating out here on a rock. Points of improvement are the sauce and cheese. If they changed to a San marzino sauce, the sauce would be much richer and would allow the fresh ingredients to really play a leading role in the taste and the if they used a higher quality mozzarella, and less of it, the taste would flourish. 7.8
