A fantastically beautiful looking pie and delicious to match. The incredibly fresh mozzarella is an absolute dream, creamy with a brilliant texture, hilighted by the extra virgin olive oil glazed atop. The sauce itself is a bit subdued, lacks sweetness but is definitely enhanced by the sprinkles of grated Parmesan and basil, bringing out lots of flavor. The dough is a little softer than expected, needs some more crisping to really make this pie sing, but tasty nonetheless. The slices are huge, heavy & very filling like most NYC pizza. This is really good pizza overall with even more potential. A little extra time in the over and fresher basil and we could be looking at high 8s or low 9s. Def worth trying if you’re in or near Manhattan.
