This slice would honestly be even higher if not for a deduction on the crust.
First of all, I don’t know where the No Flop reviews are coming from. Absolute flop the second I take a slice out of the box BUT minimal oil or grease runoff. Doughy is good, I’m not anti-dough at all.
As far as the actual slice; STRONG cheese flavor right off the bat but it’s counterbalanced by how good their sauce is. Sweet, but not too sweet to where it’s a great compliment to the parmigiana. Floppy/doughy but organized, as I said no run off in terms of grease or oil and minimum on the cheese.
I mean this is a 9 slice but for the flaky and almost non-existent crust. But absolutely fantastic outing from Salvino’s will get again.
