Spectacular, thin and full of flavor. Better than most places across the boroughs

First time to NYC from Texas… so I don’t know what a true New York pizza is suppose to taste like. Well, my wife and I were completely satisfied when we took our first bite! It was sooooo good! So good, we didn’t want to try anywhere else for the rest of the trip! We went back for more! Next time I’m in NYC, I’ll have to try a different place, but I am so happy our first slice was Salvo’s! Delicious pizza!

A solid slice of NY pizza, the bread was fresh and perfectly heated. The crunch on the crust was good however the slice could have been more flavorful.

The dough is soft, and the pizza isn’t very greasy. It’s a good pizza! I wouldn’t say it’s the greatest, but it’s definitely above plenty others in the area. I’m glad I tried this!

Heard good things about Salvos and it did not disappoint so I'm giving it a big boy score of an 8.0. All around this was a really good slice between sauce, cheese and crunch. What I've noticed about a very solid slice of pizza is that you need it a little more well done and here at Salvos they have that art down pat. I'd go back more often if I didn't live a little out of the radius of the pizzeria, but if I'm feeling it I'll def make the trek.
