Tavern pizza is big around these parts so I got the cheese. My daughter got the buffalo chicken seen in the rear.
First the good - the crust was acceptable. Too thick for my liking but a good texture and crispy bottom. A bit burnt in places (good thing imo).
The bad - everything else. Sauce tasted like it came from a can and I as sparse (probably a good thing). And the cheese, my god the cheese… I swear it is just American… bleh. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE American cheese… on burgers and sandwiches, but pizza?! Nah, I’m good.
Loaded tater tots with added bacon was delicious though. And my wife claims the wings are good.
