Very good boardwalk pizza. Crust is a little bland but overall a very good pie. Might be the best boardwalk pizza I’ve had in NJ/DE

The white with broccoli might be better than the plain 👀

Great flavor from Sam’s on the boardwalk. Well-deserving of being one of the most popular in Wildwood. Great crunch all throughout the slice, a unique zing in the sauce. Cash only. Very flavorful and well worth a stop

Got the itch and gutted the copper out of my neighbors house for this. A bit extreme you might ask? This pizza is worth a felony and a 6 month “milk” trip for daddy. A bit of flop held it from the 8’s Review from my son: “8.4 I really like the taste. The crust and sauce is unbelievable. The world doesn’t revolve around Mack’s anymore”

Cheese was tasty, pepperoni was a bit greasier than I normally like but overall a good thin pie for a boardwalk pizza.

Long line for sit down. Walked up to takeout and ordered two pies. They were in my hands in under two minutes. Great pizza. Worth the walk all the way past the other places. Everyone in the party enjoyed it which is saying a lot for the group I was with.

Good but not great Very nice crust, quality bit inconsistent. Worth a visit if you’re on the shore

Decent slice for the Jersey Shore . Sauce was not sweet when compared to others on the boardwalk which is a good thing.

Pizza was Ok. Might have been a bad pie, but the sauce was a little too weak. Lots of room for improvement.

Very good pizza! Dave hit the money with his score! Everything fresh! Cooked to perfection crispy but not burnt. Good sauce and cheese! Be back next year!!!

Solid boardwalk pie.

I think Dave hit it right on the money. The crust was thick, but not too thick. Sauce was fresh, cheese was smoking hot but very delicious. Classic 1957 pizza spot. You got the family pictures on the wall, place was crowded. I highly recommend Sam’s if you are ever in wildwood.

Large cheese pizza and a Coke, 12:30pm on a Saturday Pros - A perfectly executed traditional pizza. I want to call this a boardwalk pie but it doesn’t have the signature Jersey boardwalk swirl of sauce that I’ve seen in many others. This is just a no frills, fastball down the middle pizza that hits just right. A great ratio, delicious tangy sauce and a perfect brown to the crust Cons - It’s not going to differentiate itself nationally but it doesn’t get anything wrong. Verdict - The score kept going up as I ate it. The first slice was a burninator but once cooled this was delicious. As close to an 8 as you can get. On the way in when as if the pizza was good, a man carrying a stack of pizzas declared “Best on the island”. I have to assume he was right, this was great pizza

Really good pie. Nice crispy crust and good flavor. Definitely some of the best boardwalk pizza I’ve had.
