Sam's Pizza Shop

Back again checking out some Washington county square pizza. The guy who gave me the pizza might’ve been the nicest and most genuine person I’ve come across so far. The pizza itself wasn’t bad either. First off, I felt like this pizza lacked a good crunch like most good square pizza places have. The pizza looks like Jimmy Z’s without the crunch. The sauce was good, and it actually had hint of Osso’s taste to it. The cheese was just okay. It was sliding off a good bit whenever I would pick up a slice. Overall this place satisfied my hunger. The wonderful customer service will have me recommending this place to everyone in the area. It’s not everyday you are greeted with open arms 20 minutes before a pizza place closes (my bad I know).

They sell it by the slice, it tastes like they cooked the crust separately, put the sauce and cheese on, and then melted it in a toaster oven. Service was poor. Waited an hour, cheese is probably Kraft, but the crust on the edge had a good crunch.

Pretty good pizza. A lot of sauce, tangy sauce. Cheese is good. All around solid pizza. Crust is very good.
